In addition to the PITC Demonstration Programs at six community colleges there are several other ways PITC is being put into practice throughout California:

:: PITC Partners for Quality
14 Regional Trainer/Coordinators based in their communities work throughout California to bring PITC to family and center-based child care. more>>

:: Proposition 10
The California Children and Families First Initiative (or Proposition 10)was approved by California voters in 2001. Prop 10 places an additional 50 cents per pack tax on cigarettes to fund childhood development services for children ages 0-5 as well as smoking prevention programs. more>>

:: Beginning Together
The Institute is designed to build on the knowledge gained through the four Program for Infant/Toddler Caregivers (PITC) modules and enhance participants' abilities to provide training that supports providers in the care of infants and toddlers with disabilities and special needs. more>>
